Harran undertakes all types of modification and refurbishment work, from large offshore refuelling facilities, through bulk storage and transportable tanks to filter vessels, pumps and refuelling nozzles.

As a consequence of platform modification or life extension, existing refuelling systems may need to be re-positioned, modified or generally upgraded to match the platform's new lease of life. In these circumstances Harran can carry out all work on the system from start to finish and, if required, provide a temporary refuelling system from rental stock, whilst the existing unit is being refurbished onshore.

Transportable tanks are maintained, refurbished and tested at our workshop. IMDG regulations that govern IMO 2½ and 5 year pressure tests are covered and proof load testing to BS EN 12079:1999 is also carried out in Harran’s yard using our own certified test rig.

Quick disconnect and dry-break hose couplings and nozzles are refurbished and tested on specialist test rigs before being returned for continuing service.
